The PSD to DNN skin conversion service covers the creation of DotNetNuke skins from your artwork. If you're looking for a skin build get in touch, with details of the project and design samples if possible, to receive a quote.
All conversion projects follow the same path:
1. Visual Blocking of your artwork
From the artwork you supply, a blocked visual is created to show how it will convert to a DNN skin. This blocked visual will display skin objects, such as the login and register links, search bar, navigation e.t.c. as well as where the content panes will go. While the blocked visual is being prepared, any elements that may cause issues are also highlighted and discussed and when everything looks good, it's signed off.
2. Building valid XHTML and CSS layouts
Based on your artwork and the signed off blocked visual, valid XHTML and CSS web pages are created for each of the skin variants required. These are working HTML layouts and give you a really good idea of how the final DNN template will look in a browser.
All of our XHTML and CSS is validated and cross browser tested for the following browsers:
- IE6, IE7, IE8, IE9
- Firefox
- Opera
- Safari
- Google Chrome
3. Conversion of HTML & CSS into a DNN skin pack
The XHTML and CSS web pages from step 2 are then converted into a DotNetNuke skin pack ready for installing.
Project Timescale
All conversion projects carry a 7 to 10 working day time frame, which is negotiable if your project is needed quicker.
